Ioannis is an attorney at law, having graduated with First Class Honors from the Law School of the University of Athens. He has an interdisciplinary academic background, holding a Master in Law and Finance from the Institute for Law and Finance of Goethe University Frankfurt am Main and a minor in Finance from the American College of Greece. His interests lie in the fields of financial regulation, secured transactions and capital markets law. He has worked as a lawyer in Greece and in the Deutsche Bundesbank. Currently he is an Analyst at the European Central Bank in Frankfurt, Germany
