“For my preparation for the GRE Test I was fortunate to be instructed by Mr. Adam Siatras of NETWORK. The GRE score was essential part of my application for the Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government in the USA.

Σύντομη Βιογραφία

Panagiotis has joined Hellenic Navy in 1985, as a naval cadet in the Hellenic Naval Academy. He became an Engineer Officer in 1989. Up to 2002 he served in various naval vessels as head engineer officer and chief engineer. Then up to February 2011 he served in various agencies of the Hellenic Navy, the Army and the Joint Forces, assuming key leading roles in Strategy, Security, Safety, Management and Education.

Concurrently with his military duties, in 2006 up to date he has carried out innovative research in shipboard fire detection, as a part-time PhD student at the National Technical University of Athens, which he successfully completed in July 2012. In 2006 he was honoured with a full scholarship from ALBA Graduate Business School in MBA in Shipping, for the part-time program, from which he graduated in 2009.

The period 2008-2010 he studied and received his MSc in Disaster Medicine and Crisis Management form Athens University. In February 2011 he voluntarily ended his military career as a Naval Captain in order to follow a different career path in academia. Panagiotis is happily married and he has four (4) lovely children.
