Recognised Foundation Courses

The NETWORK FOUNDATION PROGRAMME is a course in special disciplines (i.e. English, Study Skills, Maths, Physics, Computing, Economics & Business, Psychology, Biology, Chemistry etc.) relative to each student's academic direction. The course is an alternative admission criterion to the GCE "A" levels. Students upon successful completion of the above course obtain a place in the 1st year of undergraduate studies at British Universities (or in the 2nd year for certain Scottish universities).

Reasons to select us...
  • The NETWORK FOUNDATION PROGRAMME enables candidates to enrol to Prestigious Universities in the United Kingdom, where our students are accepted in the first or second year of studies (in Scotland), directly, without taking any GCE A-levels or other exams. A list of our preferred Universities is presented in this site.

  • The NETWORK FOUNDATION PROGRAMME provides you with guaranteed place offers in most specialisations. Its syllabus is recognised by most well-known British Universities.

  • The NETWORK FOUNDATION PROGRAMME is held in small class sizes (in number of students) and in a very warm and friendly atmosphere.

  • There is no coincidence that the NETWORK FOUNDATION PROGRAMME is the first Foundation Programme in Greece that has its own WWW site (since 1995), designed and developed by student-tutor teams, because NETWORK FOUNDATION PROGRAMME is continuously looking ahead into the future.

  • The mission and academic standards of NETWORK are known to a large number of academics, tutors, students and professionals around the world. We are proud to present this information to you also.

1. Why apply for Guaranteed Place Offers?
Our school, given that prior to enrolling here you have obtained the basic necessary qualifications according to the standards set by each co-operating University, is in position to Guarantee that you will receive a Conditional Offer for a Place in that University.

Because you (students) prefer to decide for yourself which University to study at (and don't leave this critical decision to luck or to your foundation school).

Because parents, who invest their money for the future of their children in a Foundation Programme, want to be sure that their children will be accepted in their preferable University and not end up at an institution they never desired.

Because students can not take any more hard competition (like the Pan-Hellenic exams) for getting a position or prepare for the stressful GCE A-level examinations, but want to secure a place to a well-known and prestigious University.

Because, regarding male students, further delay in starting their undergraduate studies will result in termination of their military exemption (and will have to serve immediately).

Because the NETWORK FOUNDATION PROGRAMME accepts only the exact number of students as there are guaranteed places available.

2. Why obtain your degree from a Prestigious and well-known University?
Because what is very important in order to pursue a career is not only to obtain any degree but also the professionalism and self-confidence you acquire while studying at a Prestigious British University.

Because today everybody recognises the importance of the reputation and history of a University degree in a highly competitive labour market, since your prospective employers have to trust the name of the University you graduated from in order to offer you a job.

5. Why its high quality Syllabus is a major factor for selecting NETWORK
Back to top
Because the NETWORK FOUNDATION PROGRAMME is designed according to the academic standards, the guidelines and the recommendations of the British Universities with which our school is linked. It aims to prepare the students for a successful academic course, having minimised the possibility of failure during the students' undergraduate studies

Because the NETWORK FOUNDATION PROGRAMME ensures your acquaintance with the British Educational System. It is not just a typical preparation for University acceptance since NETWORK secures your place offer from the very beginning.

Because the examinations are held in Greece with exam papers produced by our tutors.

Because the examinations weigh for 60% of the mid-term and final grades, while 40% is measured by class participation, the students' projects and laboratory performance

Because having a small number of students in each class, as NETWORK guarantees, is a very important factor for in-class learning and better knowledge acquisition

Back to top Back to top
6. The NETWORK Advantage
Because most prestigious British Universities recognise the NETWORK FOUNDATION PROGRAMME and offer places to our students

Because a number of leading Universities provide guaranteed place offers to qualified students of NETWORK

Because all of our tutors hold postgraduate degrees from the UK (or the USA), have extended educational experience and most of all, the necessary patience, along with the motivation for high quality work in the friendly environment of NETWORK.

Back to top Back to top
7. Why small class size is an important factor for selecting NETWORK
Back to top
Because students participate and discuss all subjects in-class and therefore comprehend fully and learn most of the material directly during the lectures

Because, only with small class size the instructors have the ability to closely monitor each student, so as to discover any possible inefficiencies and correct them soon enough, contributing the most to the student's success

Because a very good level of communication and co-operation is achieved, along with team spirit and warm "family" atmosphere

Back to top Back to top
8. Why "taking care of the last detail" is a reason for selecting NETWORK
Back to top
Because NETWORK assures at no charge

  1. preparation and completion of UCAS applications as well as the official communication procedures between the candidates and the Universities.
  2. accommodation of the candidates at the Universities' halls of residence.
  3. booking of aeroplane tickets.
  4. escorting of the candidates in their first trip to the Universities.
  5. continuous monitoring and support throughout their Undergraduate studies.
Because our graduates enter directly to the first or the second year of studies in the British Universities

Because all our former students and their family members recommend NETWORK to their friends and relatives with excellent comments.

Because the quality of our work has given NETWORK international academic recognition
